Marking the 55th anniversary of Seiko’s first diver’s watch, this extraordinary Hi-Beat Automatic Diver is available only in a limited edition of 1,100, with the serial number engraved on each case-back.

Upgraded with a box-shaped anti-reflective sapphire crystal, it is crafted of Seiko’s new Ever-Brilliant Steel, offering an exceptional level of corrosion resistance and a lighter, brighter finish.

The rich blue-gray dial, designed to suggest the ocean depths at the point at which blue yields to darkness, features a date calendar and LumiBrite hands and markers.

Following ISO standards for scuba diving to depths of up to 200 meters, this exceptional watch includes a black one-way rotating elapsed timing bezel and screw-down crown and case-back, as well as a reinforced blue-gray silicone strap, paying tribute to the advanced original “TROPIC” design.

The proprietary hi-beat, 37-jewel, caliber 8L55 automatic movement, assembled expressly for diver’s watches at the Shizukuishi Watch Studio, beats at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, and can be wound manually or automatically. 200 m Water Resistant
