Inspired by the original 911’s 0-100 km/h time of 9.1 seconds, its innovative movement recreates that burst of acceleration with a central chronograph hand that races a third of the way around the dial in just 9.1 seconds before progressively slowing down. The mesmerizing motion is made possible by two specially engineered snail-shaped wheels, a clever mechanical interpretation of acceleration & deceleration. A true meeting of Porsche performance and TAG Heuer ingenuity.
Paying tribute to the birth of the TAG Heuer Carrera and the mythical Porsche 911, this classic TAG Heuer Carrera epitomizes the passion for racing shared by both icons. A confident watch, fusing prestige and ambitious innovation. Showing red highlights throughout, this timeless Carrera features a bespoke shimmery silver dial and a black Porsche-inspired 60-second scale on the flange. The fine-brushed & polished steel case integrates a glass box domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment and a glass box sapphire case back showing the expertly crafted TH20-08 movement. Water-resistant to 100 meters. The in-house Calibre TH20-08 movement emulates the Porsche engine and the time it took for the first Porsche 911 to reach 100km/h. Resolutely geared for speed.
